Author Guidelines
Submission of an article implies that the described work has not been published previously (except in the form of an abstract or as part of a published lecture or academic thesis), it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere, its publication is approved by all authors and that, if accepted, it will not be published elsewhere in the same form, in English or in any other language, without the written consent of the Publisher. Authors found to be deliberately contravening the submission guidelines on originality and exclusivity shall not be considered for future publication in this journal.
Submission: Electronic paper submission is preferred through journal online paper submission which can be accessed via the journal website http://www.jeajee.org.jo or via e-mail to the editor editor@jeajee.org.jo . Papers are considered for possible publication with the understanding that they have not been published, submitted or accepted for publication elsewhere. Papers accepted for publication should not be published elsewhere in the same form. If previously published figures, tables, or parts of text are included, the copyright-holder permission must have been obtained prior to submission. Corresponding author: Clearly indicate who is responsible for correspondence at all stages of refereeing and publication, including post-publication. Ensure that telephone and fax numbers (with country and area code) are provided in addition to the e-mail address and the complete postal address. Full postal addresses must be given for all co-authors.
Manuscript Preparation
Papers must be clearly written in English. The text should be presented on A4 or an equivalent size. All parts of the manuscript should be in one column format. Please use MS Word for the text of your manuscript.
Margins of 25 mm should be left around the text. Please number each page and provide a short running title. The title page, page number one, should contain the following information: the paper title, author/authors names, a brief abstract, a set of keywords, and text. The abstract should be concise and not longer than 250 words. Immediately following the abstract, a list of keywords for subject indexing. Keywords should not simply be taken from the title of the paper, but should be representative of the content of the whole paper and characteristic of the terminology used within the particular field of study. The introduction of the paper must be clearly written and should explain the nature of the problem, previous work, purpose and the contribution of the paper. The introduction is assigned number “1”, and following sections are assigned numbers as needed. A conclusion section must be included and should indicate clearly the advantages, limitations, and possible applications.
Structure:
Follow this order when typing manuscripts: Title, Authors, Affiliations, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Main text, Conclusions, Acknowledgements, Appendix, References, Figure Captions, Figures and then Tables. For online submission, please supply figures imported into the text AND also separately as original graphics files. Collate acknowledgements in a separate section at the end of the article and do not include them on the title page, as a footnote to the title or otherwise.
HEADINGS, PARAGRAPHS AND TYPE FONTS

The main heading of the paper should be in sentence case and centered. Avoid starting the title by using indefinite articles (a, an, to, the, etc). Do not use abbreviations, acronyms or project names in the title. This heading should be in bold using 16 point type size. The title should be preceded by a 24 point spacing (usage of Format ® Paragraph is encouraged).
Section heading should also be bold and centered, but capitalized, in 12 point type size. The spacing preceding the section headings is 16 point. All sections (except the Abstract and Acknowledgements, if any) should be consecutively numbered, including Conclusions and References.
4.1 Subheadings and Initial Letters
Subheadings should be 10 point, italicized, typed flush to left side, and in lower case with initial capitals for all main words. Number each subheading as shown using the section number and subheading number. Subheadings and sub-subheadings here are preceded by a single line space (10 point).
4.1.1 Sub-subheadings. Sub-subheadings should be typed as for subheadings. The following text should run on after the full stop. There should not be any further layers.
4.2 Paragraphs
Any paragraph starting after a heading, subheading, table, figure or equation, should begin flush with the left column. Subsequent columns should be indented by 5mm, as follows:

4.3 Fonts
The default font for JEAJEE is Times New Roman. Other fonts are acceptable for use in diagrams or tables. However, do not use any fonts that are region specific.
Abstract
A self-contained abstract outlining, in a single paragraph, the aims, scope and conclusions of the paper must be supplied.
Keywords
Immediately after the abstract, provide a maximum of six keywords (avoid, for example, 'and', 'of'). Be sparing with abbreviations: only abbreviations firmly established in the field may be eligible.

All Greek letters and unusual symbols should be identified by name in the margin, the first time they are used.

Follow internationally accepted rules and conventions: use the international system of units (SI) as primary units. If other quantities are mentioned, give their equivalent in SI.
STYLE HINTS
First Page
Space between the Title and Abstract is reserved for the name(s) of author(s), affiliation(s), corresponding address(es), email address(es) and, if appropriate, web site. Abstract and main body of the paper follow as suggested by this manuscript. The abstract should be concise and not longer than 250 words.
Equations
Equations should be typed within the text and numbered consecutively throughout the manuscript. The equation number should be typed in parenthesis, flush with the right hand margin. Equations may be centered with each other, see Eqs (1-2) or on the page, see Eq. (3). Note that equations need not be numbered.
Do Not Start a Section of Subheading at the end of a page.
Drawings and Illustrations
Line drawings or illustration must be of sufficient quality for publication as submitted i.e. clear, clean, sharp and of an even density. Figures will not be redrawn or relabeled. Any lettering or text should be in proportion to the rest of the figure. Halftones (photographs) should be of sufficient quality with respect to detail, contrast and fineness of grain to withstand the unavoidable loss of contrast inherent in the printing process. Please bear in mind that colored lines and photographs may not reproduce well in black and white. Illustrations and photographs should be positioned at or near the top of a page and as close as possible to the first reference to them. Please note, if you must submit a Camera Ready Copy version, that B&W photographs will look considerable better if they are first transferred to bromide prints. The following points should be carefully noted:
- Microsoft Object Editing. It cannot be emphasized enough that the use of frames to position images, tables or drawings should be avoided if at all possible, as should the generation of diagrams and tables using Microsoft Picture Editing tools.
- If possible please generate tables using the Table tool and generate any other diagrams using separate software, saving diagrams as images (JPEG, GIF, TIFF, etc).
Captions for tables should appear before the table, while captions for figures and photographs should appear after the figure. Both should be centered and italicized. Long captions should be justified with 25mm right and left margins.
Referencing Other Work
Indicate references by number(s) in square brackets in line with the text. The actual authors can be referred to, but the reference number(s) must always be given.
Only essential references which are directly referred to in the text should be included in the reference list. The references should be listed in the order they appear in the text.
References should include: author’s initials and surname, initials and surnames of remaining authors, year of publication in parenthesis, article title, abbreviated journal title in italics, volume number in bold followed by issue number in brackets, and page numbers. For conference articles name the city in which the conference was held. Include the country if the city is not well known. In case of reference to a book, the book title should be italicized, and the publisher and place of publication should be included.

PDF Proofs
One set of page proofs in PDF format will be sent by e-mail to the corresponding author, to be checked for typesetting/editing. The corrections should be returned within 48 hours. No changes in, or additions to, the accepted (and subsequently edited) manuscript will be allowed at this stage. Proofreading is solely the author's responsibility. Any queries should be answered in full. Please correct factual errors only, or errors introduced by typesetting. Please note that once your paper has been proofed we publish the identical paper online as in print.
